Who we are

Viking Chimney Solutions is a family-owned, owner-operated company founded in Sugar Land, Texas, in 2025. I’m Craig Dornak, the owner and certified technician who personally performs every inspection and repair.

I built Viking after seeing how often homeowners were left with incomplete inspections, high-pressure recommendations, or repairs performed by people without the right training. My goal is straightforward: document what I find, explain it clearly, and recommend only the work the system actually needs.

My credentials include NCSG Certified Chimney Professional, NFI Certified Gas Specialist, and CSIA Certified Dryer Exhaust Technician (C-DET). I use video scanning, thermal imaging, airflow and backpressure testing, and detailed photo reports when appropriate to the service.

Viking Chimney Solutions is based in Sugar Land and serves the full 14-county Southeast Texas area shown on the company’s Google Business Profile: Austin, Brazos, Brazoria, Burleson, Colorado, Fort Bend, Galveston, Grimes, Harris, Matagorda, Montgomery, Waller, Washington, and Wharton counties.

When I’m not working on chimneys and fireplaces, I’m usually spending time with my family, volunteering at church or with local high school marching bands, working on my barbecue skills, or looking for another axe at the Texas Renaissance Festival.
