Viking Chimney Solutions is a family-owned business started in Sugar Land, Texas in 2025. Craig Dornak, the owner and founder has worked in the chimney industry for over 3 years all over the Houston area. Craig got his work ethic and hands on skills early in life, growing up on a farm just south of Houston. He continued to develop his skills as a handyman and working in the construction industry.

During his time as a chimney sweep, he realized that one of the biggest problems families face in dealing with home repairs is uncertified businesses and individuals who take advantage of them and leave bigger problems that have to be fixed again in the future.

Our mission at Viking Chimney Solutions is to provide honest inspections from a NCSG certified Chimney Sweep and NFI Certified Gas Specialist. Whether you have a gas log set, or an enclosed gas appliance, he is certified to treat any issues that may arise. The specialized skills he has learned make diagnosing, finding solutions that fit your budget and doing the repairs a stress free process.

When he’s not inspecting fireplaces, you can find Craig spending time with his family, volunteering at church and with the high school marching bands, perfecting his BBQ skills or haggling for a new axe at the local Renaissance Festival.
